Quick Access will be hosting a Workplace Violence workshop on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.  The two-hour session will be conducted by nationally-known safety and security consultant Dennis Lewis, a 30-year veteran of Springfield area law enforcement.

The workshop, held at Sleep Inn at 233 E. Camino Alto Drive, will be offered at 9:00 a.m.and again at 1:30 p.m.  Registration for the seminar is $30, however Springfield Area Chamber members will recieve a 50% discount ($15) on the registration site provided below..

Darin Heyen has assumed the role of 2019 Chairman of the Board of The Builders’ Association. He became a member of the Association’s Executive Board in 2018. He succeeds Shawn Burnum, Vice President of Operations, PCI (Performance Contracting Inc.), who remains an officer of the Association. Mr. Heyen previously served as President of the Association’s sister organization, an Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Chapter, from 2013 to 2014.

Kansas City, MO – Twenty-nine outstanding students received scholarships at The Builders’ Association’s 132nd Anniversary Banquet, which was held at The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center on Friday, February 22, 2019. The scholarships were funded by donations to The Builders’ Association Scholarship Foundation, a nonprofit endowment fund established to support, through scholarships, the academic education of individuals who seek careers in the commercial construction industry. Since its inception, The Builders’ Association Scholarship Foundation has awarded 325 scholarships totaling almost $850,000.
