Published Monday, March 4, 2019 11:00 am

Sure and begorrah, ’tis a great day to be Irish. This popular month-long annual event brings out the Irish in everyone who comes aboard.

March is a tribute to the Irish and where they built Titanic in Belfast, (Northern) Ireland. In fact, as a passenger group, the Irish outnumbered all other nationalities on board.

The Titanic Museum Attraction honors the 159 Irish passengers and crew aboard Titanic. How do we pay tribute? By simply telling their stories.

  • Titanic was built in Belfast, (Northern) Ireland
  • 159 Irish Passengers & Crew aboard Titanic
  • Mayo County, Ireland had 14 Irish traveling on RMS Titanic
