Burrows, CPA and supervisor within the firm’s non-profit and governmental team, has recently earned her Intermediate Single Audit Certificate. This specialized certificate, awarded by the American Institute of CPAs, is for auditors with at approximately three to seven years of experience performing single audits in compliance with the latest Uniform Guidance requirements. In addition, it signifies that the Intermediate Single Audit Exam has been passed, which covers topics such as internal controls over compliance, compliance testing, and how to identify federal assistance and determine a nonfederal entity’s major programs.
Sarah A. Burrows, CPA – Supervisor
Sarah has more than four years of audit experience and primarily serves clients in the non-profit and governmental industries. Her practice emphasis includes municipalities, counties, school districts, colleges, and non-profit organizations. Sarah is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and Missouri Society of CPAs. She graduated from Drury University with her B.B.A. degree in Accounting and holds the Intermediate Single Audit Certificate from the AICPA.
