AED Solutions, a division of Ozarks Technical Community College, helped secure the donation of a $2,250 automatic external defibrillator for Crosslines,a service agency of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks. Springfield, Missouri – September 8, 2014– Springfield Ballet is pleased to welcome Evan Bennett as its new Executive Director.

Evan Bennett is a native of Springfield, Missouri and grew up acting and singing in productions around the city. After graduating from Glendale High School, Evan left to study vocal performance at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio. After finishing his undergraduate studies, Evan moved to New York City to pursue his Master of Music at the Manhattan School of Music. Directly following graduation, Evan won the chance to live in Austria as an English-speaking teaching assistant under the auspices of the Fulbright Program/Austrian American Educational Commission.

Hunger advocates from Springfield and across the country will be wearing orange on Thursday, Sept. 4 in an effort to raise awareness of the 49 million people in the United States who struggle with hunger. It's just one of the many awareness events taking place throughout the month of September in recognition of Feeding America's Hunger Action Month—a month-long campaign to help end hunger in our country.
