As a member of the Chamber, the Missouri State Department of Military Science is happy to announce a company out of Branson is raising money on our behalf to help endow the Captain Aaron Eidem Scholarship Fund. Captain Aaron Eidem was the assistant Professor of Military Science tragically killed on I-44 two years ago when he stopped to help a motorist who had blown a tire and spun out in the fast lane. By placing his car at an angle, it prevented the stranded motorist from being killed by a semi-truck, but he unfortunately lost his life in the process. His courage and bravery will be remembered through this scholarship. Money is being raised by raffling off tickets for a Smith and Wesson M&P15 Sport II 5.56 NATO semi-auto rifle. All proceeds will go to the scholarship fund. Tickets are just $5 dollars each or 5 tickets for $20 bucks. The rifle will be raffled off on 8 February 2018. This scholarship will go directly to one of the over 100 ROTC cadets in our program. If your interested in purchasing tickets, or simply providing a donation to the Captain Aaron Eidem Scholarship Fund, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or (360)280-5822. You can also donate directly to this scholarship through Community Foundation of the Ozarks, (another member of the Chamber): www.cfozarks.org or 417-864-6199. Thanks for your support!
