Springfield Regional Economic Partnership

The Springfield Regional Economic Partnership (SREP), a program of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, officially launched in January 2011 after 10 years of successful regional cooperation under the former banner of the Ozarks Regional Economic Partnership.  

The purpose of SREP is to promote sustainable economic opportunities for partner members in the 10-county region.  In addition to the name change, a “menu of services” was established to encourage our communities and counties to hold an equitable partnership in growing jobs and investment in the Springfield region.  Under the revised structure, communities (representing a municipal city and chamber of commerce) and counties participate in regional economic development in one of three areas members value, such as business attraction activities, legislative outreach, and access to professional economic development staff and resources.
