Top Tips - How to Engage Your Company with Our Community

Article provided by Community Partnership of the Ozarks

Research shows that companies that are socially responsible and advocate for community involvement and volunteerism have higher levels of engagement. Engaging your workforce in the community is a win-win for businesses as it allows employees to give back to the community and gets them more engaged in your company. At Community Partnership of the Ozarks (CPO), we offer a number of programs that build resilient children, healthy families and strong neighborhoods & communities. We are uniquely positioned to help your company invest in our community.

Do you want to get involved but are not sure how? We have many ways that you can work with us to get involved:

  • Set up a donation drive to collect hot hands and socks for the homeless community.
  • Use your expertise to help those in need. Are you familiar with budgeting or taxes? Volunteer for our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) or Making Sense of Money programs. Are you a creative or a content creator? Work with us to help raise awareness about mental health or substance misuse prevention.
  • Set up times where your employees can volunteer together at Crisis Cold Weather Shelter sites, the O’Reilly Center for Hope, or neighborhood clean-ups.
  • Work with us to establish a fundraising drive to raise money for a project that you or your employees are interested in.

At CPO, we see the impacts that community engagement can have on those in need every day, and we are here to help engage your company in making our community a better place for everyone!
