Exciting new value for small business Chamber members

MEWA_flier

In its daily operations, the Chamber offers value to its members in a wide range of ways by focusing on its four strategic areas of focus. But the goal is always to find new ways to offer additional value – and through a partnership of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Missouri Chamber Federation, the Chamber is pleased to tell you about a new value offering for its small-business members.

By teaming up with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Missouri, the Missouri Chamber Federation has created a new “multiple employer welfare arrangement,” or MEWA. This self-funded medical offering lets small employers (those with 50 or fewer eligible employees) offer health coverage to their employees by joining together to share in the overall claims risk.

The program offers several advantages:

  • Increased rate stability
  • Competitive medically underwritten rates
  • A variety of plan designs, including 10 PPO and three HSA options
  • Access to multiple Anthem health care provider networks

Several Chamber member businesses are already taking advantage of this unique opportunity, and you should know more about it. Visit our MEWA webpage to get all the details!
