2026 November Election Recap: Springfield and Missouri Voters Weigh In on Key Issues and Candidates

Springfield voters headed to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 3, to decide several local and statewide ballot measures and elect representatives at the local, state and federal levels. The results will help shape Missouri's policy landscape, the region's representation in Jefferson City and Washington, D.C., and the local government's approach to several administrative functions.

Below is a breakdown of key election results and what they could mean for Springfield-area businesses.

Election results are unofficial as of November 4.

Looking Ahead

With the election complete, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce will continue working with elected officials at every level of government to advance policies that strengthen the region's economy and support the business community.

As attention turns toward the 2027 Missouri legislative session, the Chamber will remain focused on key advocacy priorities as identified by our membership and will be shared soon in the 2027 State and Federal Legislative Agendas.
