Introducing our Education Resource Center for Employers

covid-education_resource_center_blog-04

As school districts around the region have started the process of reopening their doors to students for the 2020-2021 school year - in a variety of forms - both parents and employers have a wide range of questions.

  • What resources are available to help support virtual learning?
  • Which organizations are offering assistance with day care?
  • What best practices can businesses provide when it comes to accommodating employees with children during this uncertain and stressful period?

The Chamber wants to help by working to gather as much information as possible in one centralized location: our Education Resource Center for Employers.

We are working diligently to keep this page updated; we’re talking with businesses about their best practices, and we’re working with community organizations and not-for-profits to collect as much useful information as possible and present it in a way that it is useful and easy to understand.

Please take a minute to look through this new tool and share it with those who might find it helpful. In addition, if your business has best practices you'd like to share, or if you have questions about how to support employees with children, we encourage you to reach out to us.
