New events for members kick off 2017
In our ongoing effort to help member businesses make new connections, the Chamber has several new and returning events on the calendar for 2017. Check out these activities and see how you can get the most out of your Chamber membership!
Twice a year, Springfield Chamber members will get the chance to make connections with members of eight other regional Chambers through this unique “speed networking” event. Make it a point to join us for the spring session of this unique program, scheduled for breakfast on April 27!
This quarterly event, previously called the Member Briefing, welcomes new members to the Chamber and demonstrates the benefits of membership. It also serves as a refresher for long-standing members and their new employees about how to get the most out of being a Chamber member.

This series, added new for 2017, is your chance to hear presentations from local companies about the topics they know best. These lunchtime events, happening every other month, give you the chance to tap into the expertise of your fellow Chamber members.
Our first event, on January 31, featured Family Home Solutions discussing different types of real estate investment and how to create passive income. The next installment of the series is coming up on March 8, with Central Bank & Central Trust discussing the ins and outs of business succession planning.
60 Minutes to Success
Returning for 2017, the 60 Minutes to Success series offers a midday chance to connect with the right expertise in numerous areas. These hour-long sessions teach Chamber members about the topics that impact their business most. A special thank you to our Series Presenting Sponsor, Mediacom Business.
The first event in the series, on February 8, included an update on the Department of Labor’s new overtime rules and other employment regulation changes.
