Reach Campaign leads to big things for 2017

The Chamber has wrapped up its first annual Reach Campaign, and the program was a massive success.

Our army of nearly 140 volunteer leaders helped raise more than $515,000 to fund existing and new programs, events and initiatives for the coming year. It’s all part of our ongoing effort to continue adding increased value for members while reinforcing our work in our four strategic areas of focus.

The program was very well received by our membership, as more than 200 companies signed on to support the Chamber through sponsorships and marketing opportunities.

Among the new value the Chamber is looking to offer in the coming year: our new Biz Blitz program, which offers the potential for “speed networking” not only with members of the Springfield Chamber but also with members of a number of regional chambers: Branson, Bolivar, Hollister, Marshfield, Mt. Vernon, Nixa, Ozark, Republic and Rogersville. There will be two opportunities to take advantage of this event in 2017, one in the spring and one in the fall.

“Our name is the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce for a reason,” said Dori Grinder, the Chamber’s membership manager. “It’s important for us to think regionally whenever possible, and this program is a great chance for our members to connect with members of Chambers from across the area.”

Meanwhile, two of our most well-attended monthly events return for next year: Good Morning, Springfield and Business After Hours. Our breakfast event offers the chance to hear updates on a variety of topics in a variety of locations, while our evening event gives members the chance to network and connect in relaxed, fun environments.

Annual passes for both Good Morning, Springfield and Business After Hours are available for purchase. Click here to learn more about these events.
