Americana Tire and Wheel has announced plans to locate in the Springfield region, investing $1.5M to open a new assembly facility in Marshfield, MO, and create 20 new jobs above Webster County average wage.

Through the Springfield Regional Economic Partnership, Chamber staff worked with the Marshfield Development League and company executives to facilitate the project, including access to state incentives through the Missouri Works program.

Based in Reynoldsburg, OH, Americana Tire and Wheel serves major trailer manufacturers across North America with its trailer tire and wheel assemblies, and manufacturers Load Star and Kenda Karrier Radial tires. Earlier this fall, the company purchased a building in Marshfield previously occupied by Diamond International, and plans to have its assembly facility fully operational this month.

The Marshfield facility will join Americana Tire and Wheel’s other locations in Elkhart, IN; York, PA; and Blackshear, GA. The Springfield region’s proximity to their customers and quality workforce drove the company’s decision to locate in Marshfield to meet growing demand.
