Heffington’s Optical is pleased to announce the opening of Heffington’s House of Vision at 1350 E. Woodhurst Drive in Springfield, Missouri.

The move from the Spec Shop in the Galleria Shopping Center to the The House of Vision is an expansion that allows Heffington’s to offer: more examination rooms, more staff physicians, more appointments and walk-ins; and, all of these services from one convenient, ground-level location.

Founded in 1975 by Bob Heffington, Heffington’s Optical is the largest optical retailer in southwest Missouri. For more than 40 years, Heffington’s has focused on providing the most professional and comprehensive experience in eye care, while offering their quality and expertise at an affordable price. Customers can choose from a wide variety of name brand frames at 50% off retail prices.

Heffington’s Optical provides the same-day service customers have come to expect, but without sacrificing on technology, quality, customer care or wellness.

“We are very excited about House of Vision and what we will be able to provide for our customers,” said Bob Heffington. “For years we have been making prescription lenses in our own local factory. With this expansion and investment in space and technology, we have new opportunities and the ability to better serve our clients.”

Along with the addition of Heffington’s House of Vision, Heffington’s Optical also includes: Heffington’s OptiLand and their eyeglass factory at 640 West Chestnut in Springfield.
