Document Management internships are available at our Headquarters facility in Springfield, MO. These are paid internships that offer employment during summer and on a part-time basis during the fall and spring semesters. Normal working days are Monday through Friday. You could also potentially receive course credit while working at AECI! Contact your school’s career center for more information.
The successful candidate will be proficient in SharePoint Online and have knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365 tools and applications. This candidate will display strong attention to detail and accuracy and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. The candidate should have a desire to work with a variety of information technology solutions to achieve the strategic planning goals of content management.
As a Document Management student intern, projects will likely include the following:
• Capturing Content Management Program (CMP) projects documentation
• Testing links and sites in SharePoint as content migrations are completed
• Cataloging or mapping existing content for importing SharePoint
• Reviewing and clean-up of content types in SharePoint
• Conducting research
• Retention labeling for document management compliance in Microsoft 365
• Other digital transformation and migration tasks, as necessary
Qualified applicants must be currently enrolled in a related academic education program and have successfully completed two (2) years of work towards a bachelor’s degree with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or greater.
