The PMO Manager is a hands-on role, involving the coordination of all Integration projects with the counterpart in France.  This role manages day-to-day activities in the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure projects meet organization goals and requirements. Implements and provides guidance related to PMO processes and policies, oversees the work of project management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.

The PMO Manager can be asked to carry out any of the following functions:

  • Manage designated project(s)
  • Consolidated project planning – high level planning
  • Support & challenge, help arbitration / decision / prioritization between projects
  • Communications planning
  • Set up and maintain project office structure
  • Project management coaching
  • People management
  • Financial management

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead key designated program(s)
  • Develop and communicate project management best practices
  • Coach and assist project managers and team members
  • Track resource allocation, avoid over-allocation of resources and initiate problem resolution process as needed
  • Track project performance and deliverables
  • Provide information on project performance as needed
  • Assist in project prioritization
  • Manage the stage gate process

Job Experience/Technical Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related major.
  • 5+ years of successful Project management experience required.
  • Capacity to travel when required.
  • Operational experience preferred.
  • Project Management Software/Tools experience preferred.
  • Fluency in French or German as a plus.
