Purpose of the Role

The role of the Treatment Plan Coordinator is to educate patients entering into treatment plans about the importance of following through with the recommended care set forth by the doctor in order to achieve wellness. The Treatment Plan Coordinator will also take New Patient phone calls, verify benefits and outline the cost of care to patients.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Answers New Patient calls, collects all new patient data & prepares patient for first day visit.
  • Enters & verifies New Patient insurance information.
  • Presents Report of Findings.
  • Presents HTSY classes.
  • Updates New Patient Audit for tracking and follows up when patients drop out of care.
  • Assists New Patient Liaison when needed.
  • Answers incoming patient calls.
  • Communicate all patient concerns to Office Manager and Owner (if clinical concern).
  • Communicate all office personnel concerns to Office Manager.


The Treatment Plan Coordinator must be people-oriented, committed to excellence and approach work with thorough consistency and accuracy.  As the overseer of all treatment plans, he/she must understand industry, insurance and the patient’s needs and concerns. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the Treatment Plan Coordinator must embrace the company’s mission, vision and values, communicating them through all his/her work.
