Full-Time  Status - 40 hour work week
$17.44 hourly
The Greene County Auditor’s Office is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Auditor I to join the award winning team promoting Financial Literacy and Open Book Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  Performs monthly audits of County offices and departments.
  Prepares journal entries to post to the general ledger.
  Reconciles outstanding purchase orders and open invoices.
  Promotes and presents financial literacy.  Written and oral communication skills a requirement.

Minimum Experience and Training Qualifications:  
  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, three years governmental accounting and audit experience or any combination of education and experience that provides knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Proficiency in advanced EXCEL is required along with a knowledge of the Open Book Management style of business.
