The Product Manager identifies strategic initiatives to improve key performance metrics for their respective categories and works with multiple departments to coordinate and oversee those initiatives. The Product Manager develops and maintains expertise in the product categories for which they are responsible through ongoing market research, product and supplier analysis, and extensive financial analysis.

Essential Job Functions
  • Create and implement strategies and initiatives to improve category performance.
  • Negotiate absolute best acquisition cost that will position our company to be competitive in all levels of sales, while creating maximum profits.
  • Become a product expert by developing a deep understanding of the product, supplier base, market trends, and company performance.
  • Build commitment for and coordinate initiatives through professional communication and collaborative discussions with various departments.
  • Identify potential new suppliers and validate their capabilities.
