Springfield's quality workforce is a major factor in a Minnesota company's decision to open a new call center here that will create 200 full time jobs. FLS Connect, a political communication and fundraising company, is already hiring for available positions, including management staff. The center is scheduled to open Dec. 1.
Formerly known as Springfield Workshop, SWI offers quality subcontract work for manufacturers and other companies from a large production facility on West Bennett Street. At the same time, SWI provides vocational opportunities for more than 200 employees with developmental disabilities. Its Sunny Bunny Eggs project is one of its best known.
