A mid-year accountability check for members

We’re inviting Chamber members to join us again in July at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center to hear from volunteer leaders about the progress we’ve made thus far this year and look at what the rest of the year might hold.

Our Annual Membership Luncheon is scheduled for July 25, and it serves as our annual mid-year update. The best way to make sure you know how important you are as a Chamber member is to be accountable to you—and we do that by sharing information about our progress.

Attendees will have the chance to hear how the Chamber is doing in its work to meet the many goals set by the Board of Directors at the beginning of the year, learn about all the values of being a member and find out how they can help support our ongoing efforts to improve our community. This year’s event will cover several key areas:

  • Mid-year update: Chamber Chairman Doug Neff will take a few minutes to let you know how the Chamber is doing in its efforts to meet the goals set at the beginning of the year.
  • Members as messengers: The four vice chairmen of the board will offer their perspective on why they personally think investing in the Chamber helps both their individual business and the area’s overall economy.
  • Reaching out: We’ll also take this opportunity to introduce you to the 2018 edition of The Reach Campaign, our annual effort to help members get better connected to the sponsorship opportunities best suited to their organization.
