The Chamber is always looking for ways to help connect with its members with decision makers in local, state and federal government.
During the 2016 state legislative session, members of our public affairs team were in the state Capitol every week advocating with lawmakers on your behalf. Though that session has ended, the Chamber already is looking ahead to 2017. We’re starting the process of developing our 2017 legislative agenda, which will identify the issues most important to Chamber members and guide our advocacy efforts in the coming year. The process for developing these legislative priorities begins with feedback from you.
Do you want to make your voice heard in the halls of government? Is there a specific legislative issue that impacts your business? Let us know. Send issues for consideration to Sandy Howard, the Chamber’s senior vice president of public affairs.
