SBDC Annual Report highlights enhanced approach to economic development

Conventional wisdom has said that if communities focus primarily on creating new jobs, those jobs will attract more people and make the community a desirable place to live and work. With the new realty of a national worker shortage, and the need for commercial real estate options, this blueprint no longer works well, which is why the SBDC has expanded its focus to include placemaking and real estate.
