About Us

Welcome to the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce!
A strong local economy means better business for you. The Chamber is working every day to ensure that the Springfield area maintains a pro-business climate where every company, large or small, has the opportunity to succeed.
Economic Development & Job Creation
Every business benefits from economic growth and the creation of new jobs. More quality jobs contribute to a larger population with higher wages to spend supporting local businesses.
Legislative Advocacy
The Chamber serves as the voice of Springfield area business interests, working to ensure that local, state and federal lawmakers are aware of the issues that are important to our members and that government decisions at every level support a strong regional business climate and quality economic growth.
Regional Leadership
Collaboration has been one key to our region’s success and it will continue to be important as the area grows. Cities, counties, and chambers of commerce throughout the 10-county region surrounding Springfield come together through the leadership of the Chamber’s Ozarks Regional Partnership.
Workforce Solutions
In the next five years, one-quarter of America’s workforce will retire. The Chamber is working to ensure that our community will have its fair share of of a quality workforce, despite the country's shrinking labor pool. The Chamber’s participation in and promotion of Partners in Education are helping to develop a quality workforce for tomorrow, while The Network for Springfield’s Young Professionals is working to develop, attract and retain talent to maintain a quality workforce now.
