In the Springfield City Council elections, the Springfield Good Government Committee is supporting those candidates that will bring a balanced and reasoned approach to issues facing the City. Specifically, Mayor Jim O’Neal (running unopposed), Thomas Bieker (General Seat D), Jan Fisk (Zone 2), and Jerry Compton (Zone 3) are the strongest candidates because they support policies that encourage business growth and expansion and improve Springfield’s business climate.
