• Downtown Springfield was named “Downtown of the Month” in October by the International Downtown Association.
• The City of Springfield’s October sales tax revenue was up 7.4% from October of 2009.
• The Milken Institute ranked Springfield 67th among large cities in the U.S. in creating and sustaining jobs and economic growth in 2010.
