• Springfield-Branson National Airport opened its new $117 million terminal on May 6.
• CoxHealth broke ground on a $52.5 million emergency department expansion project on May 4.
• Springfield’s Incredible Pizza Company announced it will move its Tulsa-based operations office to the company’s Springfield headquarters.
• A Missouri Division of Finance report showed that state-chartered banks in Missouri ended 2008 with total assets of $76 billion, a 9 percent increase compared to 2007. Missouri’s state-chartered banks also ended 2008 with total deposits of $60.6 billion, an 8 percent increase from 2007.
• UMB Bank posted profits of $86.2 million in 2008, up nearly 50% from 2007.
