Money Smart for Small Businesses provides a practical introduction to the everyday tasks of starting and managing a business. Developed jointly by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The training is designed for new or existing small business owners.
There are 10 training modules, which provide practical introduction to the everyday tasks of starting and managing a business. In addition to grounding participants in the basics, the curriculum serves as the foundation for more advanced training and technical assistance.
The Springfield Money Smart for Small Businesses program is a joint venture between Guaranty Bank and the MSU-Small Business & Technology Development Center.
The instructors for this program will include a lender from Guaranty Bank, an insurance professional, a CPA and MSU-SBTDC small business consultants.more»
