Annual Events

The Chamber offers a variety of signature events for members to network and stay connected. At many of these events, we offer award programs designed to recognize members for their outstanding achievements.

ANNUAL MEETING

Every year on the last Friday of January, Chamber members gather to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments and honor our volunteer leaders. The highlight of the evening is the announcement of the Springfieldian award, the Chamber’s most acclaimed honor.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP LUNCH

Annual Membership Luncheon provides members with the opportunity to network and to recognize those among the membership who volunteer their time to Chamber committees and task forces. The program also includes a mid-year update on the Chamber's strategic areas of focus.

EXPO

Put your products in front of hundreds of exhibitors and more than a thousand attendees. The Chamber's Expo event, held the first Thursday of each November, is the one day each year dedicated to doing business in Springfield, so don’t miss it!

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP VISIT

For more than 20 years, a delegation of Springfield community leaders has traveled to a peer city to learn from the experiences of that community and bring back ideas that will benefit the Springfield region.

OUTLOOK SERIES

Throughout the year, the Chamber examines the impact of various industries on Springfield’s regional economy. Health care, education, and manufacturing each are covered via an in-depth panel discussion and luncheon, as well as a look at the overall economy.

SMALL BUSINESS AWARD

Each year, the Chamber celebrates small business in the Springfield community and highlights our area's unique entrepreneurial spirit. The recipient is selected based on factors such as staying power, response to adversity, innovation, business philosophy and contributions to the community.

SPRINGFIELD PRAYER BREAKFAST

Always the first Thursday in May, the Springfield Prayer Breakfast is a special hour of prayer for our city, county, state and federal public service providers.

NO TIME? NO PROBLEM.

Even if you don't have time to be involved, the Chamber is still helping your business grow. In fact, 75 percent of our members are not actively involved. They join and renew each year to ensure that the Chamber can continue strengthening our local economy and advocating for public policy that will support a healthy business climate.  In addition, we offer a number of marketing tools that will help you increase visibility of your business without taking time out of your day. Learn more.
