Springfield Business Development Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chamber. It provides a continuing revenue source to support the Chamber’s economic development program, which provides assistance to existing business and industry and attracts new business and industry to the Springfield area. Leadership Springfield, a Chamber affiliate, identifies and develops future community leaders and combines their expertise into a resource leading the community in a positive direction. Programs include a Leadership Springfield high school academy, a Leadership Springfield yearly training program introducing potential leaders to the community, and Leadership is for Teachers (LIFT) program. Springfield Good Government Committee, a chamber affiliate, recruits, trains, endorses and supports candidates for the nonpartisan races for Springfield City Council (in partnership with the Homebuilders Association of Greater Springfield).

Springfield Prayer Breakfast Committee, a Chamber affiliate, sponsors and provides event management support for the Springfield observance of the National Day of Prayer to honor government officials.
